When placing a bet you will be quoted the price of the horse with Bookmakers on Track. You may take that price (Fixed Odds) and if that price firms in you will still get the original price quoted. You may place a bet right up until jump time.

With telephone betting pays the better of one of the three national TAB’s nominated by you (UNITAB if no TAB nominated) and the official bookmakers starting price. Placed over the internet will be the better of the dividend declared by UNITAB or the SP. ”Best Odds” is mainly used for Provincial Racing.
