Tamara Jaber’s Dance Odds Slashed
Esther Anderson - An Easing Favourite
Tamara Jaber’s DWTS odds firmed from $4.50 to $3.80 following another standout performance on Sunday night’s show, while Esther Anderson eased slightly from $3.00 to $3.50.
Sportingbet Australia CEO Michael Sullivan said Jaber’s dance prowess would have her an odds on favourite if her popularity was not in question.
“There’s no doubt that Jaber is at longer odds than she deserves to be,” said Sullivan.
“She’s by far the best dancer on the show but how the public reacts to her is the great unknown.
“She would probably be the shortest priced favourite in history if she was an actress on a popular soap.”
Meanwhile former AFL star David Wirrpanda is a $3.50 favourite to be next eliminated, ahead of Jo Beth Taylor and Alex Fevola ($4.00 each).
“One footballer (Jason Stevens) was shown the door last week and we think there’s a good chance another will go next week,” said Michael Sullivan.
“And both girls are probably in a little trouble popularity wise.”
