Tony Wilmot: Australia are at $2.10 for the second Test with India at $3.10 and the Draw at $3.65 – Where should we put our money?
Mark Waugh: The pitch is likely to have a big bearing in Sydney and I think this Test could be a hard slog for both sides. The conditions should suit India with not as much pace and bounce as there was in Melbourne and I think they are a little bit of value at the $3.10.
TW: The Australian batting hasn’t been consistent – do you like anyone for the High Bat?
MW: I think Ricky Ponting may just have a hundred in him. He’s batting well enough to turn his fifties into a big one and he looks good value at $5.00.
TW: And for India?
MW: Sachin Tendulkar has a great record in Sydney and looked by far their best batsman in Melbourne. He may be a $4.50 favourite but thoroughly deserves to be.
TW: In contrast to the batting, Australia’s bowlers have been in great nick. Who takes the most first innings wickets.
MW: I’m very impressed with James Pattinson and I want to be on him at the $3.25.
TW: Is there anyone you like for India?
MW: i think the conditions in Sydney should suit Ravi Ashwin. If there’s turn to be had he’s capable of getting it and looks good value at the $4.00.
