Best bet – Moonee Valley 7/8 – One Last Dance – Looked super impressive in winning three from three in her first preparation. Moody has taken his time with her and with Dunn from the inside gate, she will taken a mountain of beating at handy odds.
Next best – Canterbury 3/4 – Albrehct – Super impressive performance on debut here. Should take a lot of improvement from that and can make it two from two here.
Value bet – Moonee Valley 7/2 – Darwin trainer Steve Brown should dominate at Fannie Bay on Saturday but Canali will be very hard to beat here too. Goes very well first up, has won at the Valley before and D Oliver important engagement.
Lay – Canterbury 7/2 Soledad – All his wins have been over shorter trips and I am not keen to step in at these odds from the awkward gate against horses proven at the trip
Best backed – Moonee Valley 5/9 – Oregon Spirit – Some big early bets have seen the Moody trained filly shorten from $3.90 to $3.40 in early betting
