AURIE’S STAR – GOLDEN ARCHER – Race 6 No. 4 Flemington – Super impressive when winning first up and will be very hard to beat down the Flemington straight where he is undefeated.
BEST BET– NORZITA – Race 1 No. 2 – Warwick Farm - Emerging filly from the Bart Cummings stable that showed plenty of talent when winning at Rosehill last start. Should make it two straight here.
BEST VALUE – PARTHIAN – Race 5 No. 2 – Flemington - Looked good in solid performance first-up in Sydney. Has a great record second-up and steps up to his pet distance of 1400 metres and he will take a power of beating.
LAY – KUHREIHEN – Race 5 No. 9 – Warwick Farm - His only win was over 1200 metres and that was eight months ago. This is a competitive race and I’m not keen at the short odds.
BEST BACKED – NORZITA – Race 1 No. 2 Warwick Farm - Punters have crashed into the filly in early betting and she will start a lot shorter than the opening quote of $2.80. (Now $2.65)
