Value bet – Warwick Farm Race 7 No 5 Thumbtacks – He was disappointing over 1800m last start but the drop back to 1400m is more up his alley and absolutely loves Warwick Farm. Should be right in the mix with young Schofield claiming 2kg from good gate.
Lay – Warwick Farm Race 8 no 12 I Get Around – Provincial wins this preparation have been impressive but this is a big step up in class against some hardened sprinters and I am happy to risk him at the odds.
Best backed – Caulfield race 6 No 1 – Green Birdie – Been an avalanche of big bets which has seen the old timer backed from $5.00 to $3.10 after luckless first up run.
